OK so the year hasn't been outstanding so far but with spring in the air and a few beers in the belly Joanna and I have come up with a plan to change all that.
We both agree that we are too negative and bogged down by the crapness of work, money, potted plant ownership, blah, blah, therefore we have set ourselves the task to have lots of fun for the rest of the year and the more random the better. (Pining after the backpacker days....still)
We have also decided to theme our fun by the A to Z so that we have to follow each letter in order when deciding on the next activity, experience, gig etc so we can keep a chart. Despite the fact it might sound less than random (and a bit geeky) we've checked out Time Out and there are some corkers for A already.
So where does the blog come in? Not sure really but we got carried away with the excitement of our new found fun plan (it is early hours of the morning and feeling slightly delirious) and I thought we could go one step further and share it. The fun not the delirium. Probably only with each other and a few friends that have nothing better to do at work but heh it's all part of the 'new things' plan. Being crap on the computer as I am if this actually works it will be a minor miracle but positive thoughts and all....
So the plan is think of ideas for our A to Z, work out ways to pay for them and then go and have an obsceeene amount of fun. And you might learn a few things about us along the way that you'd rather you didn't know or were too bored to remember....
